Summary:
Our games is about our world needing to replace the nuclear resources with solar resources. So America and Russia send representatives to an auction who are giving out solar resources that could potentially help their nation. With the parts you bring to the table you could have the auctioneer build the products you want to help your people.
The target audience for our game is everyone.
Problems:
Some problems we had during development is that that the game before the revamp was much too quick so games would literally end in like 3 mins or less. Not only that but the game was too dependent on luck. So we got many critiques about the heavy reliance on luck factor for the game. So the question now was how to change the game so that we can still have luck but its not entirely luck based.
Solutions:
So what I decided to do was revamp the whole game. What the game became was an uno equivalent where the 2 players have to draw cards to get the necessary parts to complete the contraption the auctioneer is providing.
If there was one thing I would change about the development process tho I would make sure to have more props for the the game. I don't have much money to pay for things to contribute to the game so I had to work with flash cards instead.

Game : Dream chasers (Nightmare Slayers)
Members:
Daniel, William
Summary: The game is a boss attack game where 2 players work together to defeat the nightmare that's terrorizing that child's dream. The target audience for the game is 16 and up.
Problems:
Our game went on for too long because of the spider queen having too much health. Not only that she did way too much damage along with that as well. Also people were not as invested in the game as we hoped and the session just felt really lifeless.
Solution:
Daniel decided to to power up our characters and slash the health of the 2 bosses because they lived for too long. Also we decided to change the whole battle system so that we don't need to have a lot of cards. the cards made game play very slow and changing the game play to be more simple made things quicker and every sense of the word. Finally we decided to allow the playable characters to perform combo moves that have different type of effect in battle.
what would you change:
If I could change anything about the development process I would change how ambitious the project was. We had so many Ideas to work with that in the end it felt very limited when we were finished. clearly the game is more of a digital game rather that a paper prototype.
